Fan Edits (Feature Length)
These are fan edits that are feature length in runtime. Everything is sorted by alphabetical order.
Synopsis:
An imposing black structure provides a connection between the past and the future. When Dr. Dave Bowman (Keir Dullea) and other astronauts are sent on a mysterious mission, their ship's computer system, HAL 9000 (Douglas Rain), begins to display increasingly strange behavior, leading up to a tense showdown between man and machine that results in a mind-bending trek through space and time. Now rescored with music by Hans Zimmer from Christopher Nolan's 2014 sci-fi epic Interstellar.
General Information:
An edit that rescores Stanley Kubrick's masterpiece 2001: A Space Odyssey with music from Interstellar by Hans Zimmer. The film has also been edited to match up scenes with the music (with most being based from u/Tykjen's 2001-Interstellar fan edit and various other YouTube sources). Consider this as my take on the idea since this isn't a completely new concept.
Synopsis:
Matthew Andrews (Jason Kulas) and Sarah Austin (Peggy McClellan) are medical interns studying neurology at the Prorolis Corporation. When a serial killer begins murdering their fellow students, they use experimental chips to visualize the events of the crimes.

General Information:
Regarded as one of the worst films of all time, this mysterious film was released in 2009 and directed by Mark Region. The film has been panned for its story, acting, effects, and music with a ralphthemoviemaker video only further cementing its infamous and strange legacy. This edit serves to resolve these issues by rescoring the film with Classical music as if this was Stanley Kubrick directing (although it's more through essence than visuals) while cutting down pointless scenes and padding. The edit also uses an 1080p upscaled version of the film to allow for a clearer experience.
Campaigning for Christmas
Synopsis:
Gloria Winters (Savannah Lathem) is a politician working for the federal government tasked with filming a social media campaign for the next election. Her crew travels to Snowpoint where they meet up with the town's mayor, Christian Baker (Chase Giacomo). From here, she starts to realize that she needs to make changes to her life if she wants to truly get ahead.
General Information:
The film is a fan edit of the 2023 film A Law for Christmas made by the same filmmakers behind the infamous 2021 film 2025: The World Enslaved by a Virus. This edit serves to streamline the film from 2 hr 21 min to 1 hr 40 min and tighten up the pacing, rescore it with John Williams' music from Catch Me If You Can and The Terminal, and a new color grade while keeping the original message intact.
Chicken Little and the War of the Worlds
Synopsis:
No one would've believed in the early years of the 21st Century that our world was being watched by intelligences greater than our own. As they observed the Earth through curious eyes, the two worlds would eventually cross paths in the small town of Oakey Oaks where Chicken Little (Zach Braff) lives. At this point, he has been recovering from a past incident that saw him cause mass hysteria over an alleged "piece of the sky” that hit him. Eventually, the sky would truly fall when Chicken Little and his friends find out the truth of what really hit him and what may be lurking in Oakey Oaks.
General Information:
For this edit, the first half of the film has been cut out to focus on the alien invasion plot in the second half. With it also becoming a War of the Worlds parody, I've decided to make the film an extremely loose adaptation of H.G. Wells' The War of the Worlds. This means Tripod/alien sound effects have been added, the original music has been replaced with John Williams' score from Steven Spielberg's 2005 War of the Worlds adaptation, and a new opening featuring new narration and montage (including some clips from Zootopia to expand the scale of the world).
Home Alone: The 'Kevin Alone' Cut
Synopsis:
When bratty 8-year-old Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) acts out the night before a family trip to Paris, his mother (Catherine O'Hara) makes him sleep in the attic. He awakens to an empty house and realizes his wish to have no family has come true. But his excitement sours when he realizes that two con men (Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern) plan to rob the McCallister residence, and that he alone must protect the family home uncertain if his parents will ever return.
General Information:
Based on a fan edit request by u/Zorklis, the 'Kevin Alone' Cut removes all the scenes of Kevin's parents making it look like his wish of them disappearing really did came true. Some cuts in the film have been based from the Oh Snap! edit which served as a huge inspiration. This edit comes with two endings: The Original Ending (Kevin's parents returns) and the Alternate Ending (Kevin's parents doesn't return).
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Great Adventure Edition
%20Poster.png)
Poster artwork by lostdeltaoutpost
Synopsis:
Following the events of Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones (Troy Baker) finds himself caught in a large globetrotting adventure over the stones of the Great Circle, the biggest mystery in archaeology. There, he would team up with journalist Gina Lombardi (Alessandra Mastronardi) to uncover the clues and prevent the Nazis from obtaining all the stones for their ultimate goal.
General Information:
This edit was requested by Nightwhisperer. The edit uses footage mainly from YouTube channel Indiana Jones Nerd's. Other footage was taken from different channels to compensate for smoother cuts and music transitions. The main aim is to cut down the footage to a more desireable runtime for those that want to enjoy the story in a film format. It's not perfect, but this is the first time doing a video game-to-film type of edit.
Jurassic Ice Age
Synopsis:
After Sid (John Leguizamo) pilfers some dinosaur eggs, Manny (Ray Romano), Diego (Denis Leary) and the rest of their prehistoric pals enter a mysterious, underground world to rescue the hapless sloth. During the course of their mission, the gang encounters many creatures great and small, including hungry carnivores and a relentless, dinosaur-hunting weasel named Buck.
General Information:
A Jurassic Park-themed fan edit of Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs that rescores the film with John Williams' score from the first two Jurassic Park films and replaces the dinosaur sounds with that from the Jurassic Park franchise. Based on a fan edit request by u/Chem-Memory9746. All but two scenes with Scrat have been removed for pacing along with other minor trimming of some scenes.
Snowpiercer: The Willy Wonka Cut
| Poster by Reddit user u/Anakin5kywalker |
Synopsis:
60 years after the events of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, the last of humanity resides on the Snowpiercer, a first-class luxury train built by Wilford Wonka (formerly Charlie Bucket) (Ed Harris) as a response to a new global ice age caused by the aerosol CW-7. While the rich thrive in the upper sections of the train, the poor reside in the tail-section where brutality and impoverished conditions are a constant. However, Curtis Everett (Chris Evans) leads the tail-section in a rebellion against Wilford by fighting their way to get to the front.
General Information:
Based on the popular "Wonkapiercer" fan theory by Rhino Stew, the "Willy Wonka Cut" of Snowpiercer sets to link the film closer to Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971) by utilizing musical leitmotifs (particularly "Pure Imagination") and flashbacks from that film. This is to make Snowpiercer feel more like a true post-apocalyptic sequel to Willy Wonka as originally theorized by Rhino Stew.
Titanic II: Rescored
Synopsis:
On the 100th Anniversary of the Titanic's sinking, a new American-built ship called the "SS Titanic II" sets sail from New York to Southampton. However, the forces of nature are set to repeat history as the crew and passengers struggle to avoid the same fate as its predecessor.
General Information:
The first fan edit that I have ever completed back in 2021 and one that predates my faneditor name. A rescore of the Asylum mockbuster Titanic II (no relation to the James Cameron film) using scores from The Poseidon Adventure (specifically the main theme), Raise the Titanic, Titanic (1997), and even 1917. The main goal was to make it entertaining and enjoyable since the film was already very bad. I later revisited it in 2022 to add the titles and post-credit scene. This edit has not been made public until now.
Twenty Twenty-Five: The Final Cut
Synopsis:
In an alternate 2025, the world continues to suffer from the COVID-19 pandemic. While the governments in Europe are in turmoil, Germany is embroiled in a civil war between two extreme factions. Amidst the chaos, a small group of Evangelical Christians plan a rebellion to retake control of the country. Little do they know that larger events outside will forever further change the course of the world.
General Information:
This the final version of a fan edit I made for the film 2025: The World Enslaved by a Virus back in 2022. After being previously unreleased for 3 years, it has been released with some final changes and better yet, it has been released in 2025 itself. The edit aims to completely overhaul the film's plot, music, and editing. In addition, it cuts down the film to a 1 hour watch to make a shorter experience.
Vivarium: The Kubrick Horror Cut
Synopsis:
Hoping to find the perfect place to live, Tom (Jesse Eisenberg) and Gemma (Imogen Poots) travel to an odd liminal suburban neighbourhood in which all the houses look identical. But when they try to leave, each road mysteriously takes them back to where they started. Eventually they are forced to take care of a child to set themselves free. However, strange occurences would take place resulting in the couple to slowly lose their minds.
General Information:
A Stanley Kubrick/The Shining inspired fan edit of Vivarium that rescores the film with Modernist Classical music (and some ballroom music from The Shining), edits the film in the style of The Shining's progression of time (such as adding time cards), removes padded out scenes, and removes certain scenes that goes against the uneasy tone of the edit.
