What is Starlight Fan Edits:

Starlight Fan Edits is my fan editing profile name created by Reddit user u/GreenandBlue12 (me). It serves as my fan editor name for my projects and to stand out from the rest of other fan editors who have made a name for themselves.

What Starlight Fan Edits Specializes In:
Starlight Fan Edits originally focused on doing fan edits of infamous and so-called "irredeemable" bad films. After Last Season (often considered as one of the worst films of all times) is the first fan edit under this name. However, following the release of Snowpiercer: The Willy Wonka Cut, the focus has shifted from doing edits of horrible films to now doing whatever films/TV-shows are interesting or suitable for a fan edit; even great films like Snowpiercer can have fan edits depending on the goal. While many fan editors try and fix certain films (a "FanFix") that have issues, Starlight Fan Edits doesn't just focus on fixing certain issues with these films but also mixing them (this is referred to as a "FanMix") with other elements to make it more interesting and most importantly, unique.

What Films Starlight Fan Edits Doesn't Do:

While all films are now open to fan editing (depending if its interesting or suitable), Star Wars films and DC/Marvel films will not be allowed (although there is one exception to it). The reason for this is to keep the fan edits unique and due to these films being oversaturated in the fan editing community. Although using music or footage from these franchises can be used for other projects, I've decided to not do Star Wars or DC/Marvel fan edits because I want these fan edits here to stand out from everyone else. The only time I would ever do a fan edit of a film from one of these franchises is if there is an interesting and unique idea for a fan edit that heavily deviates or is separate from the films' main storylines.
