Synopsis:

Following the events of Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones (Troy Baker) finds himself caught in a large globetrotting adventure over the stones of the Great Circle, the biggest mystery in archaeology. There, he would team up with journalist Gina Lombardi (Alessandra Mastronardi) to uncover the clues and prevent the Nazis from obtaining all the stones for their ultimate goal.

Background:

This edit was requested by Nightwhisperer. The edit uses footage from YouTube channel Indiana Jones Nerd (specifically this video). Other footage was taken from different channels to compensate for smoother cuts and music transitions. It's not perfect, but this is the first time doing a video game-to-film type of edit.

Goals:

My goal with this to cut down the runtime of the gameplay (and cutscenes) footage to a desirable runtime. Although the goal was originally to be under 3 hours, this turned out that it wasn't too possible to achieve so the best runtime I was able to trim it down to was 3 hours 21 minutes (including logos and end credits). Logos such as a the classic Lucasfilm logo and the Paramount logo from Kingdom of the Crystal Skull were added to make this more like a film. Some trims were also made to remove as much visual glitches as possible. The following footage comes from these users: Indiana Jones Nerd, MKIceandFire, Lamoura, Specter Prime, GameClips, NamelessDreadx37x, and Bizarro Gaming.

Change List:

• Added the classic Lucasfilm logo (taken from Project 4K77 for the highest quality)

• Added the Paramount logo from Kingdom of the Crystal Skull which transitions into the opening.

• Added the "Disney and Lucasfilm Presents" and "In association with Paramount Pictures" credits.

• Some music tracks from the official album and unreleased tracks were used to help with the musical transitions.

• Added Adjusted the aspect ratio to be 2:39:1 to match the films. There is an option in the game to make it that, but that wasn't the case with the footage I worked with.

• Slightly trimmed certain scenes to remove some of the visual glitches. Some may be unavoidable, but I did the best I can to remove some.

• Redid the title cards for the Gizeh and The Himalayas section.

• Added hard coded subtitles for foreign dialogue (German, Italian, Japanese, Thai, and Adamic)

• Vatican City Section: Removed scenes in the underground library and Ernesto.

• Gizeh Section: Trimmed down gameplay footage and removed the sequences of Indy fighting the giant and trimming down the temple scene as a whole.

• Made some trims to The Himalayas and the Shangahi sections.

• Sukhothai Section: Removed the Hotel attack sequence, removed fight with Locus and the large Snake, and trimmed down the temple escape sequence.

• Ziggurat of Ur Section: Removed sequence of going up the Ziggurat.

• Trimmed end credits to end after at least the 5 minute mark.

• Edited the music in the end credits to end with the finale of the Raiders March.

• Added Starlight Fan Edits Logo
